Please help i am worried about my sister?

my sister is 17 and has smoked weed since she was 12 before anyone starts she has a joint disorder which means her joints dislocate about 15/20 times a day so weed is the only way to control the pain as no drugs can help , she also had a kidney problem but that went away . for the last few weeks she has been having night sweats , really really bad tummy pains/aches , and been feeling really tired . when i type in her symptoms all that seems to come up is leukiema and the menopause i am terrorfied now that she has cancer what do u think ?? so doest have any other symptoms or could it be her kidney problem or the fact that she has smoked weed for so many years please please tell me what you think

Please help i am worried about my sister?
i'm not sure what is wrong with her but i do know it isn't because she's smoked weed all this time. weed has no negative physical effects
Reply:Take her to the doctor!
Reply:She needs emergency help, go to a doctor, obviously she is getting some reaction from the weed and its not helping with her Joint Disorder. I don't know what it is but she needs proper hospital care right now, hope everything is ok xxxxxxxx
Reply:I THINK YOU SIS NEEDS TO HAVE SOME BLOOD WORK DONE ASAP, A PANEL TEST, AND SEE A DR.
Reply:If she has this joint disorder, she should be working with a doctor to get her better pain control. She needs to keep going to the doctor to get help...she shouldn't have to resort to weed. Encourage her to see the doctor.
Reply:I have an answer for this one but you have to IM or message me. Please share the info I send you with parents, too.
Reply:Marijuana does not cause stomach pains and if she has been smoking for 5 yrs she is used to the effects. Kidney problems could have came back. She needs to go to the doctor.
Reply:Weed has no affect on the body other than the brain and even then it's not really that detremental. Well it does affect the lungs too but no way it's going to hurt her in her lifetime. She should go to the doctor though and get those other symptoms checked out. Sounds like it could be as simple as a stomach virus.
Reply:I really have no idea wat she has, but i think she should talk 2 a doctor. maybe they can help. i hope your sister feels better :)
Reply:The symptoms she has, may or may not be cancer. The only way is for her to get checked out. It could just be stress manifested in a physical way. You can't just assume that it's cancer without anything else to back it up except common symptoms. So don't be too worried... just get her to a doc.
Reply:i think u should take her to the emegency room or doctor to see what has happened

i dont think u want to lose her

so dont hide it from your parents and take her to thed octor or emergency room

juss to tell you she could pass away

gob be with her
Reply:Those symptoms don't necessarily mean cancer...It could be due to the weed she has been smoking but the only way to know for sure is to see her doctor. Try not to worry.

Sara, to say that weed has no physical effects is absolute Cr*p...It can cause lots of symptoms

Jamie B....Get real. You are fooling yourself if you think smoking weed has no physical effects
Reply:I really don`t think its the weed. It`s very easy to read symptoms and make them fit your sisters situation, so I wouldn`t read too much into the cancer thing. She should see a doctor though, it sounds like she has a few complications and I`m sure her smoking weed won`t come up with the doctor.
Reply:i personally don't think yahoo is the best place to ask about that. as someone mentioned before, it'd be better if you went to see a doctor with her.
Reply:im sure a doctor can diagnose your sister a lot better then a random medical search. i hope your parents have brought her to a hospital.
Reply:I am no doctor, but I doubt very seriously that these symptoms are from the weed smoking, though I am not convinced that it is helping matters any. I do believe there is a serious ailment going on here, and she should be taken to a disease specialist in your area, you very well could be right in thinking this is cancer, this is just an uneducated guess, but you have a right to be concerned. I wish you and your family the best in this situation.
