Why do I sweat? Do I have some kind of anxiety disorder?

Whenever I'm speaking in front of a small crowd or even one on one with certain people, I feel my face flush and I start to sweat, badly. I mean, it starts dripping from my forehead. I've recently started using Certain Dri, which is an unbelievalbly excellent product, so now my pits don't sweat, but unfortunately everywhere else does. I've noticed that it can be especially bad when I'm attracted to someone, even just a little. Is this some kind of anxiety disorder? I don't want to take any drugs if I don't have to. I did take antidepressants for a few years to treat chronic insomnia (which I still have), but they killed my sex drive, and let's face it: Life is better when you've got a healthy sex drive. Can anyone out there recommend some kind of relaxation technique or something to stop me from breaking out in an uncontrollable sweat? I'd really like to be able to talk to a cute salesman, or whomever, without dripping. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

your just nervous. this happens to everyone. don't be so hard on urself. maybe you just get alittle more nervous than other people. practice talking in front of a crowd, and soon you'll feel comfortable and it will go away. don't sweat it. haha. get it? lol sorry. hehe. well anyway, just don't worry about it, and make sure you take daily showers. also, try making friends with people of the oppsite gender. talk to guys. even if you don't feel attracted to them. just talk. you'll get used to it.
Reply:its call panic attacks just try to relax and the sweating will be minimal
Reply:I don't think so. Maybe you're just not used to speaking in front of the crowd or the certain people. I suggest you do it more often. that will make your anxiety go away. The reason why I never get nervous when I go on stage in front of alot of people Is because I have done it so many other times and know what it's like!
Reply:Try Bupropion HCL, It don't bother your sex drive but it stops the sweating.
Reply:umm are u a shy person??

if u r , even a little, u should try talkin at home in front of a mirror and also be more outgoing with close friends

and after that, when u got more comfortable talkin in front of whomever it would be, ull be much better

oh and also, most of ur sweatin might be the fact that u keep thinking ,"oh shocks im sweatin rite now" while ur talkin to someone

so just let it go n try not to concentrate on it too much

good luck :)

Try breathing techniques like the ones they teach in yoga.
