Axillary Hyperhidrosis is, i think a disease or disorder, its a common condition. Axillary Hyperhidrosis is when a person exssesivly sweats from palms and armpits...
Does anyone know a surgeon or a good doctor that can help me?
I have Axillary Hyperhidrosis!!!?
I don't know where you are but botox has been tried and is a good alternative to surgery so give that a try. Very successful for some.
Reply:You should be able to find a Doctor, by using this Doctor finder program..Good Luck%26gt;%26gt;

Reply:Botox DOES help! It's one good use of it.
Reply:Ok, for the 2 people who said that botox is a good alternative: if you have SEVERE and EXCESSIVE sweating on your palms, feet, and/or armpits, botox will NOT work. By all means, try it for yourself, but if you sweat a lot, it won't work for you. Surgery is the last option after you've tried everything else. I've had the surgery done, it completely stops all sweating to your hands. It also reduces the sweating in your armpits and on your feet greatly. I would recommend it to anyone. Mine was done at the University of Minnesota, Michael Maddaus was the surgeon, and the number you can call for info is (612) 626-8430
hope this helps, good luck
Reply:Hyperhidrosis can be caused by food allergies, or a mineral/vitamin deficiency. I had it for a long time before learning this.
Check out this article about hyperhidrosis, grains, and sugars. Scroll about halfway down the page.

I had hyperhidrosis and other symptoms for many years. I tried all the usual treatments including ETS surgery, prescriptions, antiperspirants, botox, etc. The surgery was most helpful but several years later hyperhidrosis began to return.
This year I was diagnosed with a few food allergies and celiac disease. I eliminated wheat, dairy, and sugar from my diet. I stopped all prescriptions and began taking supplements for B vitamins and magnesium.

Have you tried a Chiropractor for help? You can have undetected nerve compression and it can cause many health problems. Try having your spine examined by a good chiropractor that believes in the power of our central nervous system. Your brain controls every cell and part of your body threw nerve transmissions and if nerves are compressed you body will start to malfunction due to the lack of nerve impulses. Your central nervous system as well as the American diet has a lot to do with the conditions that people suffer from. Most doctors don't even understand our central nervous system therefore they don't know how to properly address conditions with out medications (with a 101 possible side effects) when nerve compression could be the root cause. For eight years I was suicidally hopeless with three young kids no doctors out of many had not a clue what was wrong with me. I know the power our central nervous system because I was set free from chronic nerve pain (stinging, stabbing, burning, itching from my eyeballs to my rib cage to my head to toes, literally!) all over my body and many other health problems after my spine was treated from a good Chiropractor (his goal was to straighten my spine) without medications. Stretching my spine on an inversion table helped the most for me (my spine pop loud and three weeks later most of my crazy symptoms started going away!). Oil base B-vitamins also help a lot there good for nerve transmissions. A lot of problems are also do to vitamin and mineral deficiency problems that doctors are unaware of. Don't ever give up hope, pray for Gods guidance and he will help you find the answers as he did for me, I wish I had enough room to tell you my whole personal story!
