Panic attack, anxity?
Well... you can always talk to your doctor.... try to do things that dont stress you out....
Reply:talk to your doctor
Reply:Why not talk to your ob/gyn about your symptoms? I assume your are seeing him/her on a regular basis, right?
Reply:I suffer with anxiety and I am currently ttc, so my dr. advised me to go off of my medication for the health of the baby. He did say, however that if during pregnancy the anxiety is becoming so much that I can't function daily that there are other medications that I can take. So you need to discuss this with your regular dr., but if you can hang in there without the meds. try. Just stay focused on something to take your mind off of the attacks, even if it means getting a hobbie. Nit something for the baby.
Reply:go to ER when u have a similar attack! Otherwise just go see ur primary care physician, get an EKG and basic labs to rule out any medical cadiac issues before considering going to a psychiatrist for psychiatric diagnoses like panic attack/anxiety disorder.
Reply:This is normal I had the same problem. It will go away after youhave the baby
Reply:I think it is related to your pregnancy, the change in hormones makes you sweat and sometimes the position of the baby pushing up on your ribs makes it hard to breathe. Your depression could be hormonal too. I would talk to your Dr. about that part and the other just to be on the safe side.
I wouldn't reccomend looking for a diagnosis on the internet because those symptoms could be a variety of things. And your most likely just to scare yourself.
Reply:You definately need to talk to your doctor. If you can't seem to talk to him/her, print out your question and give it to the nurse checking you in when you go to your appointment. The sooner the better! Good luck!
Reply:I had this exactly when I was pregnant. It's just a "thing" that happens to pregnant women sometimes - the heart pounding, chest pain thing. Call your OB right now, do what she says and PLEASE get evaluated for depression - BEFORE the baby comes. When the hormones start flowing differently after delivery, you need to have a LOT of support to watch out for post-partum depression. What are you doing still sitting here? Go call your OB!
Reply:Go to the doctor. I don't understand questions like these. It's pretty obvious what to do.
Reply:I recommend checking out www.midwestcenter.com. It is an online program to help combat stress and anxiety. I have done it myself and it helped tremendously with panic attacks, anxiety and depression. Good luck!
Reply:Hi,
I have been through something very similar with my mother. It's amazing how something
can tear apart your life like that. It hit her the hardest when I was getting ready
to move out of the house to my own apartment. She took pills for it, but they only got
her so far.
We tried several different things all ending in the same result. I'm not sure if there is
a way to completely get rid of it, but there are things that can help. I know that it
does run in the family. ONE of the things that helped her out a lot was a site we can across
online while searching for help. If you're interested follow the link below and best of luck
to you.
