Ok, i need HELP!!! this is serious!?
wow, there's a lot going on there. anorexia can cause weakness, fatigue, electrolyte imbalances, heart arrhythmias, dehydration (which can contribute to constipation). it's not just an eating disorder, it's an illness and people can die from it.

when i saw many of the symptoms, i thought of depression. it can cause increased or decreased appetite, lack of energy, change in sleep patterns, trouble concentrating or with memory.

could also be something like hypothyroidism. she probably has a doc already, since she has other things going on. if she's had this for awhile she should probably get many labs done to rule out treatable causes.

i don't know much about ehlers danlos, so i'm not sure how much could contribute to those symptoms. hope this helps. good luck.
Reply:why would anyone whose sister/daughter are having such symptoms not have her in the emergency room/doctors office? get her in there now.
Reply:could be a bacterial or viral meningitis or something serious you need to take her in ASAP yes it sound serious i am a nurse and am not familiar with her syndrome but if anyone had all that going on i would be concerned
Reply:Ok, I know you are trying to do your bit, and that is admirable, but with those symptoms you HAVE to get a doctor to see her immediately, no mucking around, tell your parents to get a move on this could be very very SERIOUS
Reply:If this was my child, I'd have her in a hospital looking for some solid answers or I'd have some doctor's backside! There are just too many things going on here. The trouble hearing, headache, nausea and dizziness sound like an inner ear problem, which depending on the cause, might account for the temperature.

If she also has anorexia, that can contribute to a host of other problems, including, but not limited to heart problems. The numbness, dizziness, weakness and fatigue could all be signs of a heart problem, as can night sweats and memory problems.

If your local hospital's no good -- travel further to one that is. I don't blame you for being worried. She needs to be stabilized and then the individual underlying problems addressed, one at a time; most severe first.
