I think I have a panic disorder.?

I am 34 years old and have a constant uneasy feeling in my tummy. Only when I am distracted does it go away. When something happens that worries me, I break out in a cold sweat and feel the need to run to the bathroom. Could I have a panic disorder or some sort. What could help me get rid of this. I have been dealing with it for most of my life and am ready to be done with it.

I think I have a panic disorder.?
sounds like generalized anxiety disorder , which is leading to panic attacks. You need to see a psychiatrist for couseling and medication. It is much more common that you would imagaine and there is help. You don't have to live with it. It is in a way your body telling you you are conflicted about somethings in your life and need to make a change. I used to have them , too. More info.? email me.
Reply:you have a very mild case yes
Reply:It does sound like some kind of panic disorder. You should probably talk your doctor about this, as it's not likely to go away without help. See if you can get a referral to a therapist who specializes in panic problems. There are also a lot of good medications out there that can help with this type of thing if you want to go that route.
Reply:There are medications for this diseease. However try other ways before you go to a doctor. First of all take very deap breaths at the first thaught of a panic....and keep on doing it even if it takes a while. The time will reduce as you practice more often. Eat a good whole grain diet. Have a prayer in your head ready to repeat in times of need. Say to yourself in a bad situation..."And this too shall Pass" Keep your stomach full with little wholesome snacks all day. Think of all those people who are dying and whose loved ones are dying or just dies....they too are trying to make it in this world. You are so much better off! Good Luck!
Reply:When we think of panic disorder, we usually think of it as being a sudden event, not something that is with you all the time. Panic disorders are usually treated with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI)s, but you really should be seeing a doctor for this- modern medicine is here so that people need not suffer unnecessarily. Good Health!
